The Sugar Glider – A Potential Pet

This is a sugar glider. Sugar gliders are small gliding possums (similar to a flying squirrel) that love to eat sugary nectar foods. As many of you know, we won’t be able to bring out sweet little French Bulldog, Ripley, to Papua New Guinea. A sugar glider could possibly serve as a fun-loving pet once we get there. They are small, native to Papua New Guinea, and so darn cute. A major point of consideration is the fact that sugar gliders are nocturnal, meaning they are awake and active during the night and sleep during the day.  Regardless if we actually have a sugar glider as a pet or not, enjoy these pictures of them below.
